Shock Top Juice Recipe
This is the Shock Top Juice Recipe. Not to be confused with the Beer. This juice has a shocking taste that will blow your top off! It’s bright orange comes from the carrots. I’ve also used this juice in the morning but substituted oranges for carrots. Adds a different taste, color and gives it a lot of tang. This juice is a great drink for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and also works well for a snack between meals. It consists of Carrots, Celery, Cucumber, Apple, Lemon, Ginger Root, and Spinach. I garnished with a celery stalk and peeled carrot to give it that tasty appeal. This juice does have a good amount of foam. If you’re not fond of the foam you can remove it with a spoon or filter the juice through a coffee filter. Filtering the juice that way will remove any pulp that got through and eliminate the foam that builds up. I hope you enjoy this juice recipe as I have.
Shock Top Juice Recipe Ingredients
4 Celery Stalks
1 Cucumber
1 Granny Smith Apple
1/4 Lemon Peeled
1-2″ Fresh Ginger
1 Big Handful of Spinach
Remember to clean and rinse all of your produce before you juice them. A lot of store bought produce can contain chemicals or bacteria on the outside of the produce. Especially if it’s a root veggie like the Carrot. Of course, if you buy organic you don’t have to worry about the chemicals but you should still clean them.
Make sure to core you apples and cut off the tips of the carrots, celery stalks, and cucumber. I always like to half the cucumber and add it in last in case the recipe creates more juice than my container can hold. It’s okay to only use a half of cucumber in this recipe. The amount of juice that recipes make is all dependent on your juicer and the quality of produce. Some juicers can extract a lot more juice than others, and some produce is just more juicy than others.
Here are some substitutions to try:
- Kale instead of Spinach
- Orange instead of Apple
- Lime instead of Lemon

2 apples
1 Lemon
.5 inch ginger root
2 apples
1 Lemon
.5 inch ginger root
4 stalks of celery
1 bananna
1 large carrot
My initial juicing consisted of the above which was based primarily on what was in my refrigerator.
I am 265# now and hope to see a major reduction in in the near future.
Question: Is my initial juicing effort basically in the right direction?.
Thank you for posting this.
I do accept as true with all of the ideas you have offered on your post. They are very convincing and can certainly work. Nonetheless, the posts are very brief for newbies. Could you please prolong them a bit from next time? Thank you for the post.

How does this Shock Top Juice help with Migraines? Unfortunately I’ve had migraines since I was a young teenager. Would love to find something that keeps them at bay!
There are many fruits and vegetables that help with migraine relief. Spinach is loaded with B2, and magnesium. Both help to alleviate and even prevent migraines. The beta-carotene in carrots is thought to keep blood vessels from becoming inflamed. This will also help your migraines. Try it out, I bet you’ll be surprised.
I hate celery. Can i substitute it with something else or may be just leave it out completely.
While Celery does provide many benefits including helping to lower blood pressure, you can substitute it with other ingredients. Take a look at the substitution list to see what is suggested.

I’m here if you have any questions Olu.
I was a little intimidated to try this – as I really dislike celery. I did not have any spinach so I substituted Kale. Its good! can’t really taste any of the kale or the celery, I did add a few more carrots though. Really Delicious! Cheers!
That’s great Shikha! I’m glad you are finding ways to substitute things so the juices work out for you. Careful with the carrots as they contain sugar. Keep me posted and remember that I’m here if you have any questions!
